Refund Policy

Last updated: 1 September 2026

Credits can be spent the second they land in your account, which is why purchases are generally final. Here is where we do refund, and how to ask.

When we refund

  • Something broke on our side. Credits taken for a generation that failed are returned automatically. If that did not happen, tell us and we will put it right.
  • A charge you did not make. Write to us and we will refund it in full and secure the account.
  • An accidental purchase — a duplicate payment, or the wrong pack — where none of the credits have been spent. Ask within 14 days and we will refund it.
  • A subscription you forgot to cancel, where you have not used the new month's credits. Ask within 14 days of the renewal.

When we do not

  • Credits already spent on generating text. The work was done and the model was paid for it.
  • Dissatisfaction with what a model wrote. Models vary, and the free credits are there so you can judge the quality before paying. Try a different model or ask for another version.
  • Part-used subscription months, where the rest of the credits have been consumed.
  • Free credits, which have no cash value.

How to ask

Write to support@genanvil.com from the email address on the account and say what you would like refunded and why. We aim to answer within two working days. Approved refunds go back through Creem to the card you paid with, usually within five to ten working days depending on your bank.

A refund removes the credits it paid for. If you have already spent some of them, your balance can go below zero, and the shortfall comes out of your next credits.

If you live somewhere that gives consumers a statutory right to cancel, that right stands whatever this page says. Note that by starting to generate text you are asking us to begin the service immediately, which in many countries ends the cooling-off period for the credits you have used.
