Cookie Policy

Short version: we use cookies to know that you are signed in, and for nothing else.

The cookies we set

• Session cookie. Set when you sign in, so that each page knows it is still you. It holds a random identifier and nothing about you. It disappears when you close the browser or sign out.
• “Keep me signed in”. Set only if you tick that box. It lets you come back later without signing in again, and you can end it by signing out.

Both are strictly necessary for the service to work, which is why there is no cookie banner to click through: there is nothing here to consent to or refuse. Blocking them means you cannot sign in.

What we do not set

No advertising cookies. No third-party analytics. No tracking pixels, no social buttons that phone home, no fingerprinting. Nothing on this site follows you to another one.

Counting visits without cookies

We do want to know which pages people read, so we count views on our own server. To tell two visitors apart without identifying either, we combine your IP address and browser with a secret and the current date, hash the result, and store only the hash. It cannot be reversed into an IP address, and because the date is part of it, yesterday's hash and today's cannot be linked. We keep daily totals per page — no profiles, no history.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we skip the count entirely.

Fonts

Page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser requests the font files from Google, which sees the request as it would for any file on the internet. No cookie is set by that request.
